Open Position: Journeyman

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrical Journeyman to join our team. This position involves installing, modifying, and repairing electrical systems and equipment on various commercial job sites.

 

The ideal candidate is licensed, experienced, and comfortable working as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.

  • Perform commercial electrical installations and repairs under general supervision

  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams

  • Terminate cables and install/troubleshoot control wiring

  • Proficient in all phases of rough-in work and underground layout

  • Install and size wiring, conduit, and bus feeders

  • Perform switchgear installation and terminations

  • Install motors and control systems and troubleshooting issues as needed

  • Prepare and layout job site for electrical installations

  • Represent the company professionally on job sites and maintain positive client relationships

  • Support project teams with other duties as assigned

Licensing & Experience
  • Valid Journeyman Electrician License - City of Harrisburg

  • Minimum of four (4) years of hands-on electrical experience.

Education & Certifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Must possess a valid and current Pennsylvania driver's license with reliable transportation.

  • Must pass drug screening.

  • Must meet the requirements of Act 153 clearances, including PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Record, and FBI Fingerprint Clearance.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in various environments and all weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and snow.

  • Must supply personal hand tools appropriate for trade.

  • Must be capable of performing all essential jobs functions safely and effectively.
