Job Description

You'll work side by side with seasoned professionals and become instrumental in communicating vital information to our entire team. As we win projects, you'll work closely to help prep them for construction.

Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

 

Administrative Support Project Set up/ Tracking/Correspondence/Follow up/Billing/Project Close-out Coordinate Office Staff’s Schedule as needed Controller’s support – Accounts Payable/Receivable

You'll work closely with our Project Manager & Field Foremen on schedules, materials, our chase orders, billing, and closeout.

 

You'll track orders to make sure we receive the materials, light fixtures and switchgear to keep projects on track, and to keep the entire team apprised.

 

You'll track the progress of projects, entering costs into our software system and verifying jobs are charged appropriately with labor and materials.

 

You'll also get to visit construction jobs with our team to know and understand the entire construction process and see the results of your work!

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Associates or Technical Degree in a related discipline from an accredited two-year college. At least 3 years working experience in a construction office environment is desirable; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Must demonstrate the willingness to continue education in related areas that are important to the company.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, trade journals, and contracts. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and colleagues.

Experience in the construction industry preferred.

Must have experience with Microsoft Words, Excel, and the ability to work in our accounting software to do reports and job costing.

Willingness to become a Notary for document processing.

Very organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.

Strong verbal and written communications.

Strong desire to be better at job today than yesterday.

Personality that blends well with a fast-paced, goals-drive environment.
